Inspired by Metropolis (1927), This body of work was created as a series, installed in a multifaceted way where each piece (sculpture or painting) has a gazing relationship with the other. The figurative forms are cast from two main bodies, a male and female. The female form is embedded with lighting devices, while the male form projects random audio sound bites from the movie "The Awful Truth" (1937). The glitter highlights important aspects of the human body as a vessel; its potential for leakage, fragility and innocence, while the inclusion of technology automates the forms. This series intends to raise questions about self-control, secrecy, and disclosure.
