Monument For The Weight Bearers: Proposal No. 5 is a print edition of 10, rooted in Francesca Lalanne's interest in examining the interplay between the human figure and urban space. Set against the architectural canvas of downtown Los Angeles, a massive figure hovers, evoking a sense of repose while offering shelter to smaller figures.
Proposal No. 4 is a 5 color serigraph using Jacquard inks on BFK Rives 280 gsm paper. It includes 24 karat hand gilded silhouettes that add a unique character to each print.
Each print is hand-pulled, signed and numbered by the artist and authenticated by a holographic seal on the back, matching the seal on the COA card.
